We Remember In Pattern

May 9 - June 5, 2026
Honfleur Gallery | Washington, DC

We Remember In Pattern is how our ancestors read the stars, weavers held entire cosmologies in counted thread, and a community knew itself by the cloth it wore. It is the animating force behind all three practices represented in this exhibition across tapestry, textile, and paper featuring artists:

• Diarra Bousso (@thediarrablu) - Senegal
• Hadiya Williams (@blackpepperpaperieco) - Washington DC
• Tabria Williford (@tawathreads) - Austin, TX
• Curated by Anika Hobbs (@nubianhueman | Valley Place Arts Collaborative)

Purchase original art AND shop the pop up full of limited edition pieces by each artist.

Exhibition Opening: May 9, 2026 | 6PM - 8PM
