About VPAC
Valley Place Arts Collaborative (VPAC) is a dynamic organization dedicated to promoting arts, culture, and the creative economy in Wards 7 and 8 of Washington D.C. and across the globe. Through a diverse range of programming, including exhibitions, performances, arts education, and community events, VPAC supports local artists, galleries, and cultural initiatives, fostering vibrant creative expression and economic development within the community.
Mission
The mission of Valley Place Arts Collaborative (VPAC) is to promote arts, culture, and the creative economy in Wards 7 and 8 of the District of Columbia. This includes:
Supporting local art galleries and artists.
Promoting creative arts, cultural organizations, and individuals.
Providing technical assistance to those in the arts and the creative economy.

An award-winning artist whose diverse body of work includes murals, portraits, sculptures, and commitment to community development through art.

SECRETARY | THEATER ARTIST
Arts leader and co-founder, known for her instrumental role in establishing and nurturing theater spaces in Washington D.C., including the H Street Playhouse and Anacostia Playhouse.

Pamela Jafari
TREASURER | THEATER ARTIST
Pamela Jafari is an accomplished theater professional with extensive experience in acting, directing, and arts administration, having worked with esteemed organizations like Arena Stage and the Atlas Performing Arts Center.

BOARD MEMBER | CURATOR
A healer, conceptual artist, and curator, and the founder of the Family Arts Museum, dedicated to celebrating family as fine art and community as a gallery.

a native Washingtonian, creative entrepreneur, and public speaking coach who has hosted artist talks and contributes to exploring Black culture and politics through photography and storytelling.
