OFFLINE: Tracing the Source is an exhibition featuring the work of artist Hadiya Williams, curated by Anika Hobbs, that explores the relationship between ancestral knowledge, material practice, and evolving technologies. Moving fluidly across hand-cut paper, surface design, AI, clay, and print, Williams’ work examines how creative traditions continue to adapt and transform across time. Rather than positioning the handmade and the digital as opposites, the exhibition reveals how they can work together, allowing history, authorship, and innovation to coexist. Through pattern, form, and material, OFFLINE invites viewers to slow down, experience the work physically, and consider how memory and lineage continue to shape contemporary creative practice.
